Airpoise

Articulating Alignment: The AirPoise Project

From Tim Brennan, the visionary inventor of Vivobarefoot, comes AirPoise - a revolutionary ergonomic chair designed to restore natural, effortless posture.

To introduce this concept to the world, I created a series of artworks that move beyond technical specs to explore the soul of biomechanics. The resulting visuals act as a bridge between industrial engineering and human anatomy.

The Vision: "The Spine in Motion"

The centerpiece of this project (featured above) is a conceptual study of form and fluid dynamics. By stripping away the physical chair, I focused on the silhouette of poise.

  • Abstract Anatomy: The artwork uses charcoal-like textures and layered transparencies to evoke the feeling of a spine decompressing.

  • The S-Curve: The central flow of the piece mirrors the natural curvature of the back, emphasizing the "effortless" nature of the AirPoise philosophy.

  • Monochromatic Depth: By using a high-contrast, minimalist palette, the focus remains on the interplay of light and shadow mimicking the subtle shifts in pressure and support provided by the chair.
